I link my DVD (Tag) direct to my Plasma (Panny 5). Room reorganisation meant that my 2m Tag component cable no longer reached so I bought a 4m BNC to BNC from Mark Grant. My display colour and definition is so good that I'm not sure I need to save for a HD display! The Tag cable was four times the price but, to my eyes, no better.
